We are seeking an Aftermarket Sales Manager in Kongsberg Maritime’s Global Customer Support division. The role requires determination and the ability to solve challenging technical tasks within short time frames.

As an Aftermarket Sales Manager for conversion and integrated system upgrades, you will support customers in meeting their performance and environmental KPIs worldwide. You will make a measurable difference toward sustainable operation of their sailing fleet.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals in tendering processes, overseeing multi-disciplinary competence areas.
- Approach existing and new customers in the seaborne segment with solutions to improve performance, obtain cost savings and reduce emissions.
- Develop budget proposals and achieve sales in line with our strategy. Align technical specifications and cost calculations according to our Sales Process.
- Manage integration and interfaces with existing vessels and provide technical assistance to customers, suppliers, internal concept design and feasibility studies as needed.
- Network internally and externally to offer standardized solutions for the seaborne market.
- Develop and deliver system solution packages emphasizing lower emissions and reduced operating cost.
- Specialize in Energy solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical systems, automation and control, marine engineering or similar.
- Experience with hybridization, electrification solutions and hydrodynamic enhancements is preferred.
- Capable to understand and interpret instrumentation diagrams, architectural and mechanical documents.
- Experience in the maritime business, preferably in the seaborne transportation segment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of Kongsberg Maritime’s product portfolio is preferred.
