As a Sourcing Coordinator, you manage pricing, sourcing, part setup and all aspects of data for miscellaneous items within the aero services product portfolio. You complete tasks as assigned for RFQs and ClientLink tickets. You act as a liaison between PPG and suppliers to ensure that PPG is getting the most favorable pricing and lead‑times.

Responsibilities

  • Implement sourcing strategies for chemical products and services tailored to the EMEA market.
  • Lead Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and on‑demand requests including supplier evaluation and selection.
  • Ensure all sourcing activities comply with relevant chemical regulations (e.g., REACH, CLP) and internal sustainability and safety policies.
  • Utilize sourcing software and data analytics tools to enhance sourcing efficiency.
  • Works with the project lead to complete implementation and RFQ sourcing activities for tail spend items on time and accurately.
  • Processes new part requests and collects SDS´s and product export information for all implementations and individual new part requests.
  • Selects suppliers per customer requirements that deliver the best value and most secure supply chain for the customers and PPG.
  • Partner with Quality, Operations, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) teams to align sourcing strategies with technical and operational requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between regional offices and global sourcing teams to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.

Technical Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within the chemical or aerospace industry.
  • Good knowledge of chemical industry regulations and standards (e.g., REACH, SDS management).
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and cross‑functional environment.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages relevant to the EMEA region are advantageous.
  • Strategic thinking and decision‑making.
  • Strong analytical and data‑driven mindset.
  • Project management and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, results‑oriented, and team‑focused approach.
