Advanced Quality Engineer/Validation Engineer

This position is part of our R&D Center based in Ketrzyn, Poland. Its main responsibility is product validation of newly developed luminaires throughout the development project, demanding a DNA of quality mindset and customer centricity.
Responsibilities
- Embed customer feedback in the product requirement/development process.
- Include boundary conditions from industrial and component platforms in the project deliverables and manage risks throughout all design phases in accordance with FMEA procedures.
- Translate customer requirements into CTQ’s (Critical-to‑quality parameters), manage the flow down and validate the CTQ’s by building evidence through test plans and tools.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of new products during the design stage according to customer needs.
- Secure timely supplier involvement to guarantee component CTQ quality.
- Prevent incidents by ensuring robust design.
- Develop efficient test strategies.
- Close feedback loops from customer complaints by embedding learnings into new design rules.
- Drive safe launch/field tests with active customer involvement.
- Develop and coach development organizations with Design Q tools such as DFSS and FMEA.
You Are…
- Open‑minded, curious, innovative and aligned with our company values and aims.
- Hold a university or college degree in engineering or a technical field (electrical, electronic, mechanical).
- Experience with quality assurance methods and tools (e.g., DFSS, FMEA).
- Hands‑on experience in product development with knowledge of relevant technologies and application domains of the product category concerned.
- Strong analytical and project‑management skills.
- Customer focused.
- Team player.
- Good communication skills.
- Good command of English (written & spoken).
- Experience guiding a project using DFSS tools (e.g., DOE’s and modelling).
- DFSS green belt or black belt certification would be an advantage.
