What you will be responsible for
Analysis and decision preparation regarding optimal production sites for new programs
- Conduct detailed analyses to identify optimal production sites for new projects.
- Prepare evidenced information to support site selection.
Strategic Projects
- Participate in strategic projects to optimize the current and future European manufacturing landscape.
- Support development and implementation of strategies to improve production processes and structures.
Space Requirement Planning
- Prepare and plan space requirements for the European production plants.
- Ensure efficient use of available production space.
Capacity Planning
- Central planning and coordination of production capacities.
- Optimize capacity utilization to increase efficiency and productivity.
Key Performance Indicators Reporting
- Evaluate, report and analyse operational key figures (OEE and capacity) for the European plants.
- Identify improvement potentials based on the analysed data.
Evaluation of Reuse Potentials
- Evaluate the reuse potentials of existing equipment for new customer projects.
- Create recommendations on how to best use existing resources.
- Optimise production assets and efficiency.
- Improve processes and structures.
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing/production: several years in capacity management or space management roles.
- Project management experience in strategic projects.
- Background in evaluating and analysing financial or non‑financial data.
- Proficiency in analytical tools/software such as Excel, Power BI, MES.
- English B2 proficiency.
- Familiarity with capacity planning, production processes, parts and equipment, and general financial aspects.
- Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to conduct detailed analyses to identify optimal production sites and present evidence in a clear way.
- Capacity evaluation and optimisation to create recommendations on how to best use existing resources/future needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and align closely across multiple teams, including plants, central functions and leadership.
- Strategic thinking and long‑term planning ability.
