Your Role and Responsibilities
- Lead a functional work team within Accounts Receivable focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of accounting transactions.
- Fully manage human‑resource planning, selection, development, periodic performance reviews of team members and create a learning atmosphere among team members.
- Ensure key performance indicators are met with pre‑defined objectives and define tasks to ensure delivery of services to assigned business partners in accordance with service‑level agreements.
- Perform analysis of accounts and highlight discrepancies for correction and conduct investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary.
- Act as point of contact for all process/people‑related escalations.
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and procedures, developing and maintaining systems, procedures and policies, including Accounts Receivable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
- Act as the point of contact for external, internal and SOX audits, and lead the internal control over financial reporting compliance and reporting for Accounts Receivable testing.
- Identify, recommend and assist in the implementation of best practices to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains across the region/global.
The work model for the role is hybrid. This role requires flexibility during month‑end closing, including occasional work in mixed shifts.
Qualifications for the Role
- 6+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, including 2+ years of team management.
- Immersed in relevant tools, methodologies and the Accounts Receivable market.
- Excellent user knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel; ERP experience is a must.
- Enhanced knowledge of specialized software/platforms.
- Strong communication skills and passion for innovative soft skills.
- Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Comfortable communicating in business English.
- Experience in Finance Shared Services for a global company is a strong plus.
