About the team

The Accounting team establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, preparing financial reports and safeguarding the organizations assets. Maintains accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, financial statements, regulatory and management reports.

Role Summary

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist with the French language to join our finance organization, responsible for establishing and maintaining accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, preparing financial reports, and safeguarding the organizations assets.

Responsibilities

  • Managing disputes by logging them, coordinating the resolution, and clarifying any issues with the client and/or departments in charge
  • Cash Collection activities
  • Managing after-sales bonuses for customers
  • Cooperation with Local Finance, Sales department
  • Managing customer relations
  • Cash application based on payment advice from the customer
  • Write off/ bad debt postings
  • Preparing monthly report
  • Reducing levels of unapplied and unallocated cash by contacting customers for remittance advice
  • Look for areas of improvement in the process
  • Good English and fluent French
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred skills and experiences

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position would be an asset
  • Studies in the financial area would be an asset
  • Good knowledge of SAP and Excel
  • Ability to work within an international environment
  • Well-organized and Team spirit-building skills
