Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist to join our team in Rzeszów.

If you enjoy working with numbers and thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, this role is for you.

As part of our accounting team, you’ll be responsible for managing customer accounts, applying cash receipts, resolving payment discrepancies, and maintaining strong relationships with our business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply customer payments (ACH, checks, and wires) accurately to the correct invoices

  • Record and investigate deductions, short payments, and other discrepancies

  • Review AR aging reports daily and follow up on overdue invoices

  • Send out account statements and payment reminders

  • Communicate with customers and internal departments (Operations, Customer Service, Sales) to resolve billing issues

  • Document all customer communications and collection activities in SAP

  • Support the month-end closing process (clearing small balances, reporting AR status)

  • Assist the AR Manager with reporting, analysis, and process improvements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting

  • Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook

  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English  (B2 level or higher)

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through

  • Positive, professional attitude and ability to build effective internal and external relationships

  • Availability for shift work: 11:00–20:00 or 13:00–22:00 (with 1-hour lunch break)
