Accounts Receivable Specialist | Global Private Equity–Owned Company

A well-established, international organization backed by Private Equity is expanding its finance function in Warsaw and is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a high-energy, international setting.

In this position, you will report to the Chief Accountant for Poland and take responsibility for key revenue and receivables activities, collaborating closely with both local colleagues and customers. We are looking for someone ambitious and wanting to grow as the processes are all set up already.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full invoicing lifecycle, from preparation through to timely delivery.
• Ensure customer records are accurate, up to date, and compliant with internal standards.
• Act as a point of contact for clients regarding invoice and payment-related inquiries.
• Record incoming payments and allocate receipts correctly within the system.
• Track outstanding balances and actively follow up to secure on-time payments.
• Draft and issue payment reminders and other AR-related correspondence.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and analyze aged receivables.
• Support correct revenue recognition and ensure transactions are posted to the appropriate periods.

Qualifications

• Background in accounting or finance with practical experience in accounts receivable.
• Fluent in both Polish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-focused, and comfortable working autonomously.
• Confident communicator who can build productive relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Experience using accounting and billing systems in a professional environment.
