As an Accounts Payable Specialist at Diebold Nixdorfs Global Business Services (GBS) Warsaw Delivery Center, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the end-to-end Poland Accounts Payable process. This position is ideal for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and a strong interest in business administration or finance. You will be responsible for handling the Accounts Payable process in the Poland area while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Incoming invoices and credit notes processing in SAP ERP
- Travel expenses processing in SAP ERP
- Preparing regular and ad-hoc reports in accordance with SOX and anti-corruption procedures
- Handling external and internal inquiries from suppliers and business
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations regarding Accounts Payable
- Ensuring compliance with the Group’s controls, policies, and procedures
- Standardization and improvement of Accounts Payable process
- Sharing knowledge and experience with other employees of GBS
- Other tasks assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- University degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field (a professional certificate in accounting would be an advantage)
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in Polish, good knowledge of English
- An understanding of accounting principles and a commitment to maintaining compliance with company standards and policies
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy
- Sound knowledge of SAP ERP
- Sound knowledge of MS Office package, especially MS Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and independently
- Willingness to adapt to changing processes and learn new tools and systems
- Effective time management in order to meet deadlines
