Accounts Payable/Receivable Accountant

Join us on this journey as we continue to scale globally! We are seeking a proactive AP/AR Accountant to manage our customer invoicing processes and support our financial operations as we continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Manage the customer invoicing process end-to-end
- Verify contractual terms in relation to invoicing
- Collaborate with external accounting firms in Poland, UAE, and the UK Financial Controller,
- Investigate discrepancies in documents and fees
- Prepare payment lists for bank processing
- Verify and track customer payments
- Support the preparation of financial reports and ensure data accuracy
- Assistance with monthly and year-end financial closing activities
What we are looking for:
- Strong command of English (both spoken and written), with experience communicating across international environments
- Proficiency in commercial contract terminology
- Practical knowledge of invoicing systems
- Strong MS Word and Excel skills (Google Workspace also acceptable)
- Solid understanding of accounting and invoicing principles, particularly around revenue and receivables (VAT),
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Proactive, assertive, and able to manage priorities independently
- Ability to seek information, propose new solutions, and continuously improve processes
- Extensive experience in invoice processing, preferably in an international context
- Experience working with global clients and contractors
- Experience in a startup or scale-up environment is a preferred
- Familiarity with the SaaS business model is an advantage
