• Calculating, reviewing and processing journal entries; compiling complex account reconciliations for management review, as well as reviewing reconciliations performed by staff.
• Leading and supporting special projects related to new processes, organizational changes, or other finance initiatives, including cross-divisional and global reporting.
• Acting as a functional expert with other departments on complex day-to-day Accounts Payable processes and requirements.
• Coaching team members on performance, completing employee evaluations, and providing input on compensation and resource planning.

What are we looking for?

We would be happy to meet candidates who meet the following criteria:
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; an advanced degree or equivalent relevant work experience will be considered an asset.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in Finance/Accounting, with demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), combined with strong math, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced level of English, both written and spoken; knowledge of additional languages will be a strong advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively manage stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of AX Dynamics and Navision/Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
• Forward-looking mindset with the ability to plan strategically, drive process improvements, and adapt to changing business needs.
