The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an Accounts Payable Area Operations Leader, EMEA & APAC, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Lead and manage AP and outsourced operations to deliver exceptional performance and service levels within the region.
Continuously monitor day-to-day operations, metrics, and SLAs to ensure processes are in control and accurate, on-time payments are executed to vendors and suppliers.
Leverage AP process knowledge to streamline regional operations and ensure alignment with global standards.
Ensure adherence to financial and legal requirements, maintaining robust controls, governance, and compliance within the region.
Partner with regional stakeholders in Sourcing, Finance, and Business Transformation, as well as the BPO partner, to drive AP process excellence.
Identify and lead regional projects and initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and add value to the company.
Act as a key point of contact and subject matter expert for regional AP operations, supporting leadership and stakeholders as needed.
Participate in ERP deployment activities to support regional transformation and ensure team readiness for new systems and processes.
Build and develop a high-performing regional AP team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Represent the AP function in regional internal and external reviews, meetings, and workshops.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
University degree in finance, accounting, administration, or similar subject
Proven finance experience, particular in Accounts Payable operations
Leading and managing a team
Collaborating and working with BPO / Shared Service organizations
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
AP process and operations knowledge and experience in SAP
End to end Source to Pay process understanding
Ability to lead and influence teams
Fluent in English
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
Work location: Hybrid within Spain (Madrid), Poland (Wroclaw) or the UK (Loughborough)
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
