Finance Managed Services (FMS) in PwC Poland is rapidly expanding as part of the Managed Services Operations. You can play an important role in supporting and transforming the operations of our domestic and international Clients. We continuously enhance our operations by applying best practices, streamlining processes, and integrating cutting-edge technological solutions for our customers. Join us in shaping and transforming operations for our domestic and international clients, as we delve into diverse, complex projects and collaborate closely with expert consulting teams to provide comprehensive finance services, including accounting and reporting, tax as well as financial planning & analysis, across various sectors in the region.

We are looking for:

Accounting Specialist

Your future role:

  1. Independently manage your pipeline and supervise daily accounting, assist in semi-annual and annual audit.
  2. Act as a leader and an expert on customer calls with regards to most complex clients and issues.
  3. Serve as the first point of contact for the less experienced Associates, share ongoing knowledge of policy/procedure with the Associates.
  4. Identify any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity, report and/or escalate it in accordance with policy and guidelines detailed in relevant operating procedures.
  5. Properly execute changes, implementation and communication within operational teams.
  6. Encourage identification and manage implementation of process optimization initiatives in order to achieve quality and efficiency improvement, as well as process standardization and harmonization in the region.

Apply if you have:

  1. 5 years of accounting experience in complex areas of the field.
  2. Advanced general accounting knowledge (IFRS and/or US GAAP in particular) and operational experience.
  3. Fluency in English and one of the other European languages (e.g., German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese).
  4. Good communication and presentation skills to lead the operational quality calls.
  5. Strong knowledge of Excel and Google tools, experience with enterprise information systems.
  6. Good organizational skills with the ability to organize, prioritize and deliver tasks. Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to work directly under client supervision on client premises.

Nice to have:

  1. Experience in maintaining external accounting for a variety of clients.
  2. ACCA or any other accounting certificate.
