The role is based in the Global Finance Centre in Krakow, Poland. The centre is supporting the development of the businesses across the European region. The centre covers all finance functions including Business Finance, Financial Control and Systems.

What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Senior financial services professional, qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, etc.), with strong technical accounting and reporting skills.
- University degree in finance related discipline.
- Experience in Finance project implementation from Accounting/reporting perspective starting from understanding the requirement to sourcing data and finally to reporting lines.
- Experience in designing, implementing and running dual reporting processes - IFRS and Local GAAP.
- Experience working in relevant environments, i.e. banking financial, regulatory reporting experience required.
- Understanding of GL systems and French GAAP knowledge preferable.
- English is a must. French will be an asset.
- Be able to work independently and meet tight deadlines, demonstrate the ability to work with people at all levels, good planning and organisational skills, with ability to adapt to changing environment.

,[Ensure the creation and updating of required accounting documentation following the Group and local requirements., Ensure the reliability of accounting data repository Platon (GOCA, GRCA, PCEC referential basis of financial reporting) through relevant analyses and controls., Understand statutory and regulatory requirements and accounting policy to be able to implement relevant product(s) in related operating system. , Keep abreast of new regulatory needs and Group requirements., Manage of local and group chart of accounts of HBCE entities, maintenance of a database for accounting schemes., Manage of queries from business, operations and accounting teams., Work closely with Tax and Accounting policy team to ensure requirements are well integrated in accounting documentation and with upstream and downstream system and business teams for change implementation., Participate in projects implementing new standards or regulations and ensure that Standard Operating Procedures are updated.
