Job Responsibilities

• Supervise accounting functions across EU and UK jurisdictions, managing both in-house and external teams
• Lead and mentor the regional accounting team to ensure operational excellence
• Develop and oversee accounting processes in compliance with local GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS
• Enhance accounting workflows, including month-end closing, payroll, expense management, and document control
• Automate and streamline accounting operations to improve efficiency
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax, statutory, and other regulatory reports
• Collaborate with the Consolidated Reporting Group to ensure adherence to Group accounting policies
• Support the implementation of a new ERP system to optimize financial operations
• Oversee audits, working closely with statutory and Group auditors to meet jurisdictional requirements
• Establish accounting operations in new jurisdictions as the organization expands

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting and financial management experience in a multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and/or local GAAP standards
• Proven experience in managing audits and ensuring compliance with local legislation
• Solid understanding of tax compliance, including VAT and corporate tax, as well as transfer pricing requirements in EU and UK markets
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and accounting software
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• Experience working in a cross-functional, multicultural team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Advanced certifications (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred
• Excellent command of spoken and written English (Upper-intermediate+)
