At ClearCourse we’re looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Kraków office and take ownership of day-to-day accounting and reporting activities for one of our group entities. What you’ll be doing
- Manage daily accounting operations: AP/AR ledgers, bank transactions, intercompany, journal entries (~500 documents/month)
- Maintain the fixed and intangible asset register
- Post prepayments and accruals
- Reconcile credit cards and support payroll entries in collaboration with our external provider
Month-End Close & Reporting
- Lead month-end processes in NetSuite, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Update balance sheet reconciliations (bank, VAT, payroll, GL accounts) in Blackline
- Ensure all financial records are up to date for monthly and annual close
Compliance & Statutory Reporting
- Prepare monthly and yearly reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in line with Polish regulations
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws (VAT, CIT, payroll taxes)
- Support communication with auditors and tax advisors
Management Reporting
- Assist with budget vs. actuals, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis
- Contribute to budgeting and reforecasting cycles
Process & System Improvements
- Help localise and optimise NetSuite for the Polish entity
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes
What we’re looking for
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (ideally in an international environment)
- Working knowledge of Polish GAAP and statutory requirements
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite (min. 1 year)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good communication in Polish and English
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
