The role is 70% Cluster and 30% related to Polish subsidiary (Miele Sp. z o.o.).
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for month-end and year-end closing of Mgt. P&L as well as statutory P&L, balance sheet and cash flow in the CEE Cluster.
Responsibility for all taxation (including TP) and monitoring compliance topics in connection with the Cross-Company Matrix Policy and legal topics for the cluster (e.g. local compliance, local authority regulations).
Compliance ambassador, ensuring internal and external accounting compliance and financial/fiduciary separation of duties.
Local process optimization under the functional guidance of the Director Accounting as well as central accounting and treasury functions.
Support of structural finance projects in regional finance.
Leadership of the cluster accounting team.
Local Role:
Operational responsibility for month-end and year-end closing of Mgt. P&L as well as statutory P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
Operational responsibility for all taxation including declarations preparation, as well as legal topics.
Coordination of the audit process.
Leadership of the local accounting team.
Close collaboration with the MGS team.
Requirements:
Relevant experience in a finance position, preferably in an international environment.
Masters degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
Strong leadership skills and experience in managing financial teams.
Good understanding of Polish GAAP, IFRS, and accounting processes.
Very good oral and written English skills.
Highly accountable, proactive, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
