Responsibilities
As an Accounting & Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing comprehensive accounting and payroll functions to support the financial operations of our Poland entity. You will work closely with the finance department and collaborate with legal teams, banks, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with local tax laws, and timely payroll administration. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in accounting and finance with expert knowledge of Polish accounting and tax legislation, along with proficiency in multiple financial software tools.
Your Daily Tasks Will Include
- Managing accounting operations in Dynamics 365 and Symfonia, including fixed assets, depreciation, business trips, payroll administration, B2B transactions, and employee leave management
- Overseeing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processing and controls
- Handling bank payments and foreign exchange operations through FX Revolution
- Preparing and submitting statutory reports such as Balance Sheets, Financial Statements, VAT declarations, and Income Tax declarations
- Collaborating effectively with external partners including legal advisors, tax authorities, banks, and government institutions
- Processing payroll calculations for official employees and civil contracts, including tax filings and social security registrations
- Generating various financial reports including cash flow, variance analysis, and professional fees
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably with D365 and Symfonia ERP systems
- Solid understanding of payroll, tax declarations, VAT, and statutory financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes and controls
- Experience working with bank payments and foreign exchange management
- Ability to collaborate with legal, tax, and regulatory partners
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy and compliance
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Knowledge of Ukrainian and/or Polish language
