Your future company

Our Client, an international production company, is looking for a skilled Accounting & Finance controller for a new Polish legal entity (a production plant). The person will cooperate with a group CFO and will be responsible for statutory and group reporting.

Requirements

• Higher education in finance or equivalent;
• Min. 5 years of experience in local statutory reporting & financial/business controlling within a multinational organization;
• International qualifications ACCA/CIMA highly appreciated;
• Expert in MS Office tools;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Polish and English;
• Experience in SAP and project management highly appreciated;
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, under time pressure - multitasking is essential;
• Positive and proactive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, goal-oriented team player.

Responsibilities

Main purpose of this job:

• To monitor and maintain the integrity of accounts and to control costs through the implementation of policy and the application of effective controls;
• To review the company accounting records that enable true and fair accounts to be produced;
• To ensure that group reporting requirements are adhered to.

The role itself can be broken down into 2 key activity groups: Accounting and Controlling.

Accounting:

• Participation in the preparation of the companys budget and financial forecasts;
• Budget implementation control, analysis of deviations;
• Preparation of periodic reports, both group and statutory (support from local SSC will be provided);
• Analysis of the companys cash flows;
• Participation in the month and year closing process, including the settlement of costs of the production company;
• Support in the statutory reporting;
• Support in tax relief and cash grant settlements.

Controlling:

• Business controlling of Communication projects in Poland;
• Responsibility for project financial reporting;
• Cost controlling, including the concept of proper and sufficient cost allocation model;
• Participation in business case analysis for new projects.
