Accountant with German – ACCA Careers

TMF Group is a leading provider of administrative services, helping clients invest and operate safely around the world. We have a presence in Poland with offices in Warsaw and Katowice. The Katowice location hosts the Regional Delivery Center serving European markets. We are seeking specialists in international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounting data into the company accounting system
• Prepare monthly, quarterly or annual financial reports in accordance with HGB, IFRS or US GAAP, in cooperation with the team
• Prepare and review financial reports
• Conduct reconciliations as requested by client or manager
• Monitor payment transactions
• Collaborate with the team to solve accounting and tax issues
• Communicate and cooperate with the company’s clients
• Prepare routine correspondence to various parties

Key Requirements

The successful candidate is analytical and methodical with experience in accounting, with knowledge of accounting and tax regulations and strong communication skills. Integrity, teamwork and strong organizational skills are highly valued.

Ideally, You Are Meeting the Following Hiring Criteria

• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• A degree in Accounting, Business or a closely related field
• Very good knowledge of accounting and tax legislations; German GAAP knowledge is an advantage
• Experience with DATEV software is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to communicate and interact well with clients, business partners and colleagues
• Willingness and ability to work in a team
• Ability to excel in challenging and fast-paced environments
• Fluency in English and intermediate German (written and spoken) is essential
• Basic MS Office package skills are essential
