Discover the Role
An Accountant in TMF Group will provide efficient, high‑quality service to a portfolio of assigned clients, working in accordance with local Accounting and Tax legislation and internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounting data into the company accounting system.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly or annual financial reports in accordance with HGB, IFRS or US GAAP.
- Prepare and review financial reports.
- Perform reconciliations as requested by client or manager.
- Monitor payment transactions.
- Work in a team to solve accounting and tax issues.
- Communicate and cooperate with clients.
- Prepare routine correspondence to various parties.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate is analytical, methodical, experienced in accounting and knowledgeable about accounting & tax regulations, with strong communication abilities, and has high integrity, team spirit and organizational skills.
Ideally, You Are Meeting Following Hiring Criteria
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- A degree in Accounting, Business or a closely related field.
- Very good knowledge in accounting and tax legislations; German GAAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience with DATEV software is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to communicate and interact well with clients, business partners and colleagues.
- Willingness and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to excel in challenging and fast‑paced environments.
- Fluency in English and intermediate level of German (written and spoken) is essential.
- Basic MS Office skills are essential.
