Accountant, Accounts Payable

Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and process supplier invoices in accordance with company policies and tax regulations.
- Ensure accuracy of invoice data (e.g., VAT, payment terms, vendor details).
- Manage invoice approval workflow and resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and handle queries promptly.
- Prepare and execute payment runs while monitoring due dates.
- Handle and process employee travel and expense claims in line with company policy.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and external suppliers.
- Support month-end closing and reporting activities.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting
- Very good Polish and English skills, spoken and written
- Good, practical knowledge of MS tools, especially Microsoft Excel
- Detail‑oriented team player with problem‑solving attitude and very good organization skills
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX will be an advantage
- Experience from an international organization will be an advantage
