Overview
We are looking for an experiencedAccountantto join a dynamic international team. This role is ideal for someone with strong General Ledger expertise and a solid background in statutory and tax compliance. The position offers a hybrid model for candidates located within 82 km of Kraków, and a fully remote option for others.

Responsibilities
Statutory & Tax Compliance

• Manage statutory and tax compliance across assigned countries
• Act as the main point of contact for the statutory/tax compliance vendor
• Review and maintain local General Ledgers, including reconciliations and US-to-local GAAP differences
• Prepare or review local Financial Statements (IFRS or similar)
• Oversee local filings and statutory audits in collaboration with outsourced service providers

Stakeholder & Process Management

• Act as a key escalation point for compliance-related issues
• Liaise with local authorities as needed
• Collaborate with the Tax team on the annual Tax Package and segmented P&L processes
• Ensure audit readiness for internal and external audit activities

Month-End Close & Reporting

• Coordinate with Process Leads to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Support the P&L Manager in ensuring bookings are compliant with policy
• Conduct periodic balance sheet and business unit reviews
• Deliver timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders

Requirements

• 8 years of experience in accounting operations
• Minimum 3 years in an international, fast-paced environment (ideally multinational)
• Strong General Ledger accounting knowledge
• Exposure to auditing and financial statement preparation
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP advantageous)
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Familiarity with Hyperion and Oracle (advantageous)
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Fully or partially completed accounting certification (e.g., ACCA)
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally for regional compliance
