About Our Client

Our client is an international manufacturing company with a well-established market position. Office location in the center of Warsaw.

For our client, a reputable manufacturing company, we are looking for a person for the position of Accountant with a very good command of English. The ideal candidate will be someone with a minimum of 5 years of experience in full-service accounting in an international company. Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for responsible and independent individuals.

Job Description

• Scanning/posting/booking invoices into the system with precision
• Processing due invoices for payments
• Reconcile accounts payable & receivable transactions, including regular reconciliation of bank statements and deductions
• Responsible for performing monthly general ledger closing procedures including preparation of journal entries, account analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and subledger reconciliation activities
• Assist with general ledger related tasks and projects on an ad hoc basis
• Conduct regular audits of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory
• Contribute to annual financial audit by providing support to external auditors
• Additional duties as assigned

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelors degree in Finance and Accounting
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience working in a multi-national organization (production, distribution)
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Good MS Office suite skills (Excel)
• Practical knowledge of SAP
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions
• Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude
