Accountant

Your responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with Polish GAAP.
• Prepare and post journal entries, AP, reconcile accounts, and manage month-end closing.
• Handle business trip reconciliations and manage company expenses reconciliation tool (ExpenseIn).
• Posting bank statements and setting up payments.
• Manage Fixed Asset Register.
• Handle VAT and other tax-related filings and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with auditors and support annual audits.
• Ad-hoc support accounting activities for overseas entities within the group.

Our requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting (preferably in Poland).
• Strong knowledge of Polish tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (SAP B1 experience is a plus).
• Good command of Polish and English (written and spoken).
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with international accounting or group reporting is an advantage.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with Polish accounting standards, and supporting financial reporting processes. You may also provide accounting support for other overseas entities within the group, ensuring consistency and accuracy across jurisdictions.
