Account Manager



Your responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with accounts, medical professionals, and healthcare institutions. Understand their needs, challenges, and clinical workflows.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration
  • Product Knowledge and Demonstration: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of IVD products and effectively communicate their features, benefits, and value propositions to customers.
  • Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the IVD market segment.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, application support, service to ensure consistent customer support and satisfaction.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with accounts to secure business agreements that align with company objectives and profitability goals.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare sales forecasts and regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitive landscape to management.

Our requirements

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field like biology, molecular biology, nursing, pharmacy, or similar experience of healthcare required with experience in hospital based clinical process implementation
  • Strong clinical background – laboratory process experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with infectious disease diagnosis, treatment and/or microbiology/virology methods is desirable.
  • Ability to travel (80%)
  • Proven experience in business development, sales or marketing, particularly in the life sciences sector with a focus on clinical applications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital environment
  • Willingness to demonstrate clinical value of our products
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Act as a team to put in place the expected synergy actions with strong problem solving
  • Curiosity and continuous learning spirit
  • Willingness to travel as needed to visit customers and attend clinical conferences and events.
  • Driving license cat. B
  • Fluent English

As an Account Manager, your role is to serve as the primary contact for customers. You are responsible for building and managing the commercial relationships with customer accounts in your territory, including handling the revenue and business growth. You will be are responsible for managing the sales pipeline, identifying opportunities, planning and achieving sales goals using an account management approach.
