Job Summary
As a Senior Account Executive, you will lead the expansion of Storyblok’s market presence across Northern Europe (Nordics, Baltics, Poland). You’ll evangelise Storyblok at industry events, build relationships with executive buyers, and drive growth through the adoption of our latest AI‑powered products—including FlowMotion and Strata. You’ll work closely with sales, partner, and customer success teams to maximise revenue potential and support deeper adoption of our headless CMS across enterprise clients.
Essential Job Functions
- Drive regional expansion by acquiring new enterprise clients (up to €1 B in annual revenue and up to 5,000 employees) and achieving a 100 % self‑generated pipeline
- Value‑sell Storyblok to executive buyers such as Chief Marketing Officers and Heads of Digital
- Plan and execute a go‑to‑market strategy tailored to the territory
- Collaborate with BDR and partner teams on outbound activities
- Lead prospects through the sales journey and conduct product demonstrations
- Handle new account development, upsells, and expansions for existing clients, including sales of FlowMotion and Strata in 2026
- Negotiate commercial offers and navigate legal and procurement processes in complex B2B SaaS sales
- Maintain ongoing client relationships and support Customer Success in upselling
- Evangelise Storyblok vision through events, demos, and account‑specific initiatives
Education and Experience
- Proven track record closing large, complex SaaS enterprise deals over $50k
- Minimum 3 years of SaaS solution‑selling experience as an Account Executive
- Strategic account and territory planning skills
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Challenger Sales, SPIN, Sandler, MEDDIC
- Relationship‑building abilities and capacity to nurture and grow client partnerships
- Technical knowledge of CMS and digital‑experience ecosystems, with the ability to communicate with both technical and marketing audiences
- Fluency in Danish, Swedish, or Finnish (native) and strong English speaking and writing skills
- Ready to travel within the region to support client relationships and events
