Role description

As an Account Director, you will serve as the single point of contact for Client Success Managers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders. In this role, you will develop and execute mid‑to‑long‑term account strategies that align with Visevens marketing strategy to drive upsell tactics. Your primary objective will be to maintain existing global accounts while identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities to grow revenue. You will lead client meetings, gather and analyze high‑level requirements, design scalable onboarding processes, drive internal change initiatives, and provide leadership for internal operational activities.

Responsibilities

  • Overarching account profitability management
  • Orchestrate relationships with clients across regions via Regional Account Directors’ alignment
  • Responsible for HQ contracting
  • Onboard new Regional Account Directors
  • Build the account strategy for mid‑ and long‑term perspectives; refine upsell tactics according to Viseven marketing strategy
  • Ensure account budget planning and execution on an annual and quarterly basis
  • Sustain existing accounts and develop new opportunities, including expanding to new divisions and clusters to increase revenue
  • Execute meetings with customers and present Viseven solutions, collecting & analyzing high‑level requirements
  • Devise a scalable onboarding process for the strategic account while communicating with decision‑makers and stakeholders on the customer side
  • Create and implement workflow and process improvements to innovate the current operational process
  • Drive internal change in the customer’s company to maximize account growth
  • Initiate hiring at HR, training, and development in the corresponding teams to ensure world‑class customer service
  • Provide supervision, direction, and leadership for internal operational activities (staff and process development, business management, and project management)
  • Support the service team so that they can maintain positive customer relationships through written and verbal communication, achieving high levels of customer satisfaction by accurately fulfilling orders and resolving problems on time with a positive attitude
  • Initiate, provide the vision, and manage the successful execution of high‑level division projects & sales
  • Interface directly with corporate functions (Finance & Accounting, Legal, and Human Resources), internal business units, and departments
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed when the service team constructs work orders

Required Skills and Experience

  • Pharma marketing background would be a benefit
  • Proven management experience
  • Accountable for achieving business goals (e.g., account growth, profit, satisfaction)
  • Effectively sell major opportunities inside accounts
  • Solid account plans building
  • Negotiate effective agreements
  • Understand budgeting and reporting on progress
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering long‑term relationships
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Experience in B2B
  • Experience with Jira, Creatio, Office 365
  • Knowledge of Pharma client standard ecosystem (CRM/CLM, marketing automation, DAM, BI) and marketing automation solutions (SFMC, AEM, Marketo, Active Campaign, etc.)
  • Good understanding of design creation tools
  • English – Advanced/Fluent
  • Second foreign language is an advantage
  • Master’s Degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a similar relevant field is an advantage
