Account & Business Development Manager - Eastern Europe
Mecademic develops compact, precise, and innovative robotic automation solutions for the electronics and life sciences sectors. Our ultra-compact robotic arms are used worldwide by OEMs, system integrators, and end-users for tasks requiring precision and reliability in automation.
Your Role We are seeking a results-driven Account & Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) market, specifically focusing on Poland, the Czech Republic, Eastern Europe, and Baltic countries. The role involves a strategic balance of recruiting and growing key machine builders, integrators and OEM accounts while actively driving new end‑user (manufacturers) business through strategic prospecting and sales initiatives.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Business Development: identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities and develop the partners network within the designated territory
- Key Account Management: nurture and expand relationships with existing and new key accounts
- Sales Strategy: develop and execute a sales strategy and action plan to achieve sales targets
- Negotiation & Closing: lead contract negotiations, prepare proposals, and close sales deals, ensuring profitability and legal compliance.
- Market Intelligence: serve as the regional expert, monitor market trends, and customer needs to inform product and sales strategies.
- Reporting: maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline information, activities, and forecasts in the CRM system.
Your Profile
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field, and have confirmed experience (3 to 5 years) in a similar role, ideally in automation, robotics or related industrial technology sector.
Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Polish, Czech, and German is a significant advantage for daily client communication.
Your Technical Skills
- Proven ability to manage the entire sales cycle
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for B2B executives
- Proficient user of CRM software for pipeline management and accurate forecasting
- Proven success in managing and growing relationships with large industrial customers
- Technical knowledge of robots or automation systems
- Proven understanding of the Eastern Europe business environment and cultural nuances is highly desirable
- Autonomous, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
Job Conditions
- Full-time permanent remote position, to be filled as soon as possible
- Compensation based on profile and experience. This is a commission based position.
- Requires living in Eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Germany) and having a valid work permit
