Summary
The Analyst – A2R Inventory is responsible for complex and non‑complex accounting activities related to commercial and manufacturing sites in the region. The role requires understanding complex accounting matters, quick problem‑solving skills, and strong collaboration with finance and non‑finance teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare manual journals as needed with adequate supporting documentation.
- Responsible for preparing complex reserves such as E&O, NRV, etc.
- Prepare complex inventory analysis as needed.
- Complete account reconciliations in Blackline per established deadlines.
- Respond to queries from local country finance in a timely manner.
- Provide audit support as needed.
- Support regional and global reporting requirements such as monthly balance sheet and P&L flux analysis.
- Support monthly/quarterly/annual close processes.
- Ensure adherence to processes, policies, and procedures, internal and external audit requirements, local rules and regulations; support strengthening of financial processes and controls.
- Support local, regional, and global projects, as required.
- Maintain focus on continuous process improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Background in inventory and/or manufacturing accounting an advantage.
- Proven experience in a multinational environment and/or shared services.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, diplomatic, flexible, and a "can do" mindset.
- Fluent in written and spoken English (B2+).
- Strong reporting tools including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required.
- Experience in JDE, Blackline, Alteryx, and W‑Desk is an advantage.
- Additional hours may be required during critical times (e.g., month‑end); public holidays may also be required on an exceptional basis.
