3D Software Developer (Level: Mid)



Location: Cracow

Work Type: Hybrid



Overview:

For our Client, one of the biggest companies that has been designing, producing, selling, and maintaining a range of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions.



We are looking for a 3D Software Developer (Level: Mid)



Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Work with Product Management to understand the challenges that customers and end users face in their day-to-day work and partner with them to design viable solutions.
  2. Recommend viable solutions to processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of the team and reduce technical debt.
  3. Foresee capacity requirements for component usage and identify limitations.
  4. Provide input into story sizing, backlog refinement, and release planning.
  5. Contribute to product and solution designs to address critical issues and complex problems.
  6. Build software applications across multiple platforms in response to the needs of stakeholders.
  7. Understand technical architecture and write software and automated tests that are aligned with agreed-upon standards.
  8. Perform troubleshooting efforts and investigations when necessary.
  9. Provide ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance of deployed products.
  10. Actively work with less experienced software engineers providing technical guidance and oversight.
  11. Participate in the engineering community, staying up to date on new software technologies and best practices, and share insights with others in the organization.


Qualifications:
  1. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or similar.
  2. Solid understanding of .NET, C#, and object-oriented concepts.
  3. Experience with 3D software and 3D geometry calculation.
  4. Willingness to take ownership of complex software features all the way through to deployment.
  5. Ability to adapt to an existing software solution and drive the implementation of new features to this solution.
  6. Capability to work both independently and as a member of a geographically dispersed team.
  7. Excellent English communication skills, written as well as spoken, as English is our corporate language.
  8. Structured and analytical working style, with the ability to plan your own work.
