3D Rigging Artist
Your responsibilities
- Supporting and enhancing current and future 3D and CGI workflows and pipelines.
- Design/Testing/Documenting of future Tools and pipeline requirements in line with business needs
- Troubleshoot problems and implement solutions
- Review code and offer constructive feedback
- Ensure online availability during pre-defined working hours to discuss and iterate closely with other team members
- Work closely with Lead developer & competency lead to deliver roadmap expectations and implement results
- Attend daily and weekly team meetings as required
Our requirements
- 3-5+ years working as a Developer in VFX/Animation/Games or similar
- Advanced Experience in Python, PySide/PyQt
- Experience in designing and developing systems, tools
- Extensive technical knowledge of common cg production workflows and requirements
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming and experience applying modern design patterns
- Advanced knowledge of Maya
- Experience with version control
- Able to work to both long and short deadlines and multitask
- Ability to prioritize production needs and tasks
- Ability to collaborate and offer solutions with great problem-solving skills
- Strong written & verbal communication skills (English)
- Expertise working with data structures and algorithms
- Experience with agile methodology
- Knowledge of Pixar´s USD,
- Experience working with Houdini, Blender and other relevant 3D DCC´s
- Experience working on backend technologies and development of microservices
- Knowledge of cloud development
- Experience with C++
- Experience building APIs
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
