For our client EC Agency in Warsaw (Poland) we are looking for

2x – Senior Test Automation Specialists

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum IT relevant professional experience – 8 years

Minimum project experience relevant sizable profile or at similar position 5 years

Key Responsibilities

The primary role is to ensure quality assurance for applications developed or supported by the Software Factory. Typical starring tasks and responsibilities include:

• Test Design & Execution:
  • Designs and documents test cases for software systems, adhering to standard testing approaches.
  • Analyses scope of change and requirements, and prepares necessary test data.
  • Executes tests and executes exploratory test sessions.
  • Maintains the regression tests set and is responsible for maintaining automated tests.
• Quality Assurance & Reporting:
  • Reports Test results and found defects.
  • Interprets test results, reports on testatiques, and highlights issues.
  • Reviews project documentation.
  • Takes a Test Lead role in.device smaller projects.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
  • Prepares test cases for UAT and coordinates the User Acceptance Test process.
  • Supports business users in test execution and defect reporting.
• Cooperates closely with analysis, architects, software development, and service desk teams.

Mandatory Certification (at least one of the following)

• At least 1 certification among:
  
  • ISTQB Advanced
  
  • or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential
  
  by the Contracting Authority)
  
  • or 3 years’ experience in test automation above required Minimum experience at similar position.

Mandatory Knowledge & Skills

Candidates must demonstrate practical knowledge and skills in:

Experience in unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, acceptance testing and

regression testing

Well versed and practical knowledge in software testing tools.

Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly.

Presents excellent communication and documentation skills.

Knowledge of tester role in Software Development Lifecycle.

Hands on experience in test automation, up to the 8 number of years stated in the “minimum

experience at similar position.”

Experience in one of tools: Selenium, Cypress, Protractor or equivalent.

Experience in testing interfaces between systems.

Experience in test data preparation.

Experience in designing tests for automation.

Experience in software developer role.

Specific requirements

Hand‑on experience with Test Automation using Playwright.

Hand‑on experience with API testing.

Hand‑on experience with operating on relational data base including SQL queries creation.

Hand‑on experience with testing systems based on data platform.

Typical tasks and responsibilities

– Designs and प्रणालियां test cases for test automation.

– Sets up test tools and frameworks for project.

– Develops and maintains automated tests.

– Interprets automated test results and provides feedback.

– Cooperates with analysis, architects, software development, testing and service desk teams.

– Runs tests on systems below GUI level (e.g., services level, database level).

– Automates test data preparation.
