Currently, we are looking for a 2nd Line Support Specialist with Linux to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing, troubleshooting, and maintaining our Linux-based systems and workstations. You will collaborate with our IT team to provide technical support, assist users, and ensure our systems run securely and efficiently.

responsibilities :
Providing support for software and hardware issues related to Linux and also in Windows systems
Troubleshooting and resolving advanced technical issues for Linux-based systems
Manage and maintain Linux workstations, ensuring they are secure, up-to-date, and running efficiently
Assist users with Linux-related issues, including installation, configuration, and usage
Respond to user inquiries and requests, resolving technical issues and providing guidance on system usage
Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
Work with other IT team members to resolve complex issues and implement new technologies
Participating in IT projects to ensure smooth implementation and minimal disruption
requirements-expected :
2+ years of hands-on experience in IT support, with a strong focus on Linux systems
Proficiency in Linux administration, including knowledge of various distributions
Familiarity with scripting languages
Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues
Excellent communication skills to assist users and document processes effectively
Routine Windows troubleshooting skills, including:
Resolving common issues like software installation problems, system crashes, and network connectivity issues
Managing user accounts and permissions
Performing system updates and patches
