Your role in a nutshell:
As our Employer Branding & Communication Specialist , you’ll have the exciting opportunity to step into a brand-new role and unleash your creativity! Your first three months will be an adventure in discovery as you dive deep into the channels we use to communicate. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to make sense of the communication chaos that sometimes leaves people scratching their heads.
Your job will be to sift through the noise, propose how we can streamline and make our communications more relevant, and come up with actionable recommendations that are both creative and feasible. So, we’re counting on you to help us sharpen our focus and turn those big ideas into reality.
Details:
- Location: Hybrid model – minimum 2 days per week in our Warsaw office, with the option to work remotely on other days
- Reporting Line: Chief People Officer
- Develop Internal Communication Strategy: Collaborate closely with senior leadership to build a comprehensive internal communication strategy that aligns with our organizational goals.
- Channel Review & Decision-Making: Assess our existing internal communication channels and determine the most effective methods for various types of communication.
- Establish Tone of Voice & Rituals: Review and refine our tone of voice to ensure consistency across all communications. Create and implement rituals to celebrate important milestones, such as anniversaries and promotions.
- Day-to-Day Communication Management: Oversee all aspects of internal communication, including newsletters, announcements, and the management of our SharePoint site, ensuring it serves as a central repository for relevant employee information. Organize and facilitate internal events, such as VML Day and Townhalls.
- Build Internal Foundations for Employer Branding: While establishing best practices for internal communication, you will lay the groundwork for expanding our employer branding initiatives.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with our CEO and CPO to ensure that all communication is aligned with our corporate objectives and messaging.
Skills and experience required to be successful in this role include:
- Experience: min 5 years of proven experience in internal communications, employer branding, or a related field, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive communication plans that engage employees and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt messages for different audiences and formats.
- Hands-On Approach: A proactive, hands-on attitude toward tasks and projects, with a willingness to dive into details and execute plans effectively.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience using design and collaboration tools such as Canva, Figma, and Miro. Familiarity with AI tools is also highly desirable.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Team Player: Collaborative approach to working with various stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment and consistency in communication efforts.
