About the project

As a Workplace Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining end-user computing environments, including desktop and mobile devices, collaboration tools, and software deployment.

Your role will ensure that employees have access to the right tools and technologies to optimize productivity and work efficiency, both in the office and remotely.

Your responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise workplace solutions, including desktop/laptop configurations, mobile devices, and collaboration tools.
  • Manage the installation, configuration, and evolution of SCCM.
  • Manage and support the deployment of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and applications using tools such as SCCM, Intune, or JAMF.
  • Oversee mass workstation renewals, technological strategy, and equipment selection.
  • Automate tasks related to user provisioning, software installation, and updates through scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
  • Install, configure, and evolve Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, ensuring smartphone security according to company policies.
  • Deploy applications on smartphones via Mobile Application Management (MAM) solutions.
  • Monitor and maintain security policies and access controls on end-user devices, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Document processes and maintain up-to-date configurations, policies, and troubleshooting guides.

Employer requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, managing workplace technology and end-user environments.
  • Fluent knowledge of French and English is a must!
  • Strong experience with end-user device management tools such as SCCM, Microsoft Intune, JAMF, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with desktop and mobile operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
  • Hands-on experience with collaboration platforms like Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Slack.
  • Knowledge of virtual desktop solutions (e.g., Citrix, VMware Horizon, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of IT security best practices for managing user devices, data encryption, and access controls.

Optional

  • Experience in managing large-scale desktop and device deployments in a corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) and bring-your-own-device (BYOD) programs.
