We are seeking a skilled WebSphere Administrator to manage and optimize our IBM WebSphere environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of WebSphere Application Server (WAS) to ensure the stability, security, and performance of business-critical applications. responsibilities :
Install, configure, and maintain IBM WebSphere Application Server in development, test, and production environments.
Monitor and optimize the performance of WebSphere applications, JVMs, and system resources.
Deploy and manage Java EE applications on WebSphere platforms.
Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery configurations, including clustering and load balancing.
Troubleshoot and resolve WebSphere-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.
Collaborate with developers to support application deployments and troubleshoot deployment issues.
Maintain and manage security policies, including user authentication and SSL configurations.
Document WebSphere configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Provide support for performance tuning and capacity planning.
requirements-expected :
3+ years of experience as a WebSphere Administrator or similar role.
Proficiency in IBM WebSphere Application Server administration, including installation, configuration, and deployment.
Strong understanding of Java EE architecture and application lifecycle management.
Experience with clustering, load balancing, and high availability configurations.
Familiarity with Linux/UNIX and Windows Server environments.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, or Perl) for automation tasks.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, including HTTP, HTTPS, and SSL/TLS.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools for WebSphere environments.
