Transaction Monitoring Senior Operations Specialist with Italian | Financial Crime Unit
PwC Poland’s Financial Crime Unit (FCU) team provides consulting services and operational support to global financial institutions in Anti-Money Laundering, Risk, Regulatory, ESG, and other financial services. We are PwCs multi-competency center, focusing on Anti-Money Laundering to help prevent illegal funds from entering legitimate financial systems. PwC FCU supports institutions facing money laundering, organized crime, and terrorist financing challenges.
Your future role
- Working as an analyst and QC in accordance with current guidance, maintaining the highest quality standards and serving as the first point of contact for less experienced Associates.
- Analyzing and finalizing the most complex reviews and managing multiple populations/assignments on the project.
- Independently managing your own pipeline and being proactive in that regard.
- Acting as a leader and expert on customer calls regarding production issues for the most complex clients.
- Being the primary point of contact for less experienced Associates, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Leading Quality Control (QC) initiatives and sharing knowledge of policies and procedures with the team to maintain high standards and continuous improvement.
- Supporting other parts of the process related to the case lifecycle (creation/check of escalations).
- Willingness to work directly under client supervision on client premises where required.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Transaction Monitoring.
- Fluent Italian and English language skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
- University degree.
- Ability to work independently in a project environment.
Nice to have
- AML certification.
- Proficiency in other European languages.
