Due to a dynamic growth of the Mobile Security Team, Samsung R&D Poland is looking for a Threat Intelligence Engineers (we have opened positions from Junior to Senior). The main responsibilities of this role are monitoring various sources and collecting data regarding potential or existing attacks against selected components of Samsung Knox solution, development of tools and systems designed to facilitate this process, as well as analysis of detected threats.
responsibilities :
Collecting information on the latest attacks and trends regarding selected parts of Samsung Knox, both from on-line and physical locations
Identifying attackers’ strategies, techniques and procedures
Analyzing and prioritizing collected information
Designing and implementing open source intelligence (OSINT) tool/system for automated collection, evaluation and management of threat data
Researching ways of automated data collection improvements using modern technologies (ML, AI)
Participating in all phases of product security analysis – from research and planning to execution
requirements-expected :
Experience as an SOC (Security Operations Center) engineer
Good familiarity with mobile security knowledge sources (blogs, forums, social media etc.)
Practical knowledge of Android system architecture
Practical knowledge of the code review for understanding vulnerabilities
Advanced knowledge about Android system security (both user space and kernel space)
Practical programming knowledge in C or C++ and Java languages (good to have Python or Javascript) that allows to understand how existing vulnerabilities work
Ability to think outside of the box and a passion for solving unique challenges in technical environments
Basic knowledge about reverse-engineering and binary analysis of Android/Linux and Windows applications
