Overview

We are looking for a R&D Electrical Engineer for laboratory tests who will be responsible for complete management of specific tests.

The Production and Regeneration Plant of Drive Systems in Czechowice-Ddziedzice deals with the production of starters, air throttle and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valves and innovative electric motors for vehicles, as well as the regeneration of alternators, starters, dual-mass flywheels and compressors for car air conditioning. The Production and Regeneration Plant of Drive Systems in Czechowice-Dziedzice also has a modern research and development center that provides innovative production solutions.

Currently, for the Production and Regeneration Plant of Drive Systems in Czechowice-Dziedzice, we are recruiting for the position of R&D Electrical Engineer for laboratory tests.

Responsibilities

• Performing the full E-Motors test procedure, including test preparation, commissioning, monitoring, expert opinions, reporting
• Defining and building measurement systems for electrical quantities based on multimeters, data acquisition cards and power analyzers
• Analysis of the test result, drawing conclusions and proposing corrective actions
• Development of new test stands as part of the E-Motors eAxle project
• Integration of existing E-Motors testers with new motors/inverters
• Development of testing programs and procedures
• Responsibility for equipment development in the R&D Laboratory

Qualifications

• Electrotechnical university field or relevant education
• Previous experience on similar
• Knowledge of measurement systems and metrological standards and the ability to apply them in practice
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and electrical diagrams
• Knowledge of the principles of operation of AC electric motors and inverters would be a plus
• Good communication level in English
• Potential to learn and grow within the company
