Application Support mission is to provide technical and functional support to users of the banks several applications. In this role you will provide support to users requests; incident, problem, and change management; coordination with other levels of support (BAs, Devs, QA, IT Engineers). In addition, it will be required to provide feedback to user and communicate on issue resolution.
Requirements:
- Technical: Master SQL / PL is a must , Java, Unix would be an asset
- Material : Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Unix/Linux scripting (ksh)
- Software : Webshere (WSTX), MQ Series, schedulers (Control-M)
- experience as TL for APS type of the team
- Languages : English mandatory
Responsibilities:
- Management of all team members and organization related topics: workload planning (including management of staff holidays, absences, back-ups schemes), follow up on recruitment processes, mobility’s, and newcomers; evaluate daily work and write annual appraisals;
- Be an active contributor in the development of new projects and stakeholder’s relationship, while acting as well in the support of transversal projects designed to foster the overall efficiency objectives
- Provide support to users of the systems in a timely and efficient manner
- Build and maintain a knowledge base regarding support issues and their resolution
- Build a working knowledge of the systems and business area in order to provide a high level of support
- Processes requests for specific actions (processing, extraction, specific work, etc.)
- Creates control points as part of procedures and operating methods to ensure that work goes smoothly and drafts ad hoc reporting
- Prepare environments for releases and ensuring that the implementation and pre-production tests are carried out
