Today, EIT InnoEnergy has a 200+ strong team with offices across Europe and in Boston, US.

The Role

The Accounting Team Lead is responsible for:

• People Management & quality review
• Managing a team of accountants
• Coordinating the daily operations of the Accounting team and guaranteeing continuous services
• Quality review of the deliverables of the accounting team
• Coaching, inspiring, and deploying the right competencies of the team to permanently strengthen their motivation and financial skills

Operational activities

• Processing of expenses, vendor invoices, and payments to vendors
• Responsible for purchase order matching and invoice approval process
• Management of client and vendor master data
• Processing of sales invoices, payments, and follow-up of overdue payments
• Preparation of payment batches and uploading them to the bank portal
• Posting of bank statements
• Preparing of VAT declarations
• Leading the monthly closing cycle with the accounting team, processing of the monthly closing
• Management of fixed assets
• Preparation and processing of account reconciliations
• Correct Payroll reconciliation
• Processing of general finance administration
• Preparing of the monthly management reporting pack
