JOB DESCRIPTION

Your Role

Your role is vital to the successful definition, design, delivery, and support of IT projects in KN. You define the architecture of a computerized system in order to fulfill requirements set by ordering stakeholder(s). You analyze and recommend a breakdown of the system into components, their interactions and interfaces, the right combination of technologies and resources to achieve given business or functional goal.

Your Responsibilities

1. Analyze requirements.
2. Participate actively in design and implementation activities of a software development team.
3. Organize processes in the Stream to ensure technical quality of implemented solutions (like reviews of both functional and technical designs and code).
4. Keep the overall (application) architecture in focus.
5. Be accountable for functional and technical decisions.
6. Make sure that conventions and quality standards are adhered to.
7. Define development guidelines and compliance monitoring, for example in terms of Clean Code.
8. Support compliance with set processes (quality, stand-ups).
9. Participate actively in knowledge transfer between architects from other streams.

Your Skills and Experiences

1. A degree in computer science or equivalent education.
2. Several years of experience with software development in Java.
3. Extensive experience in designing object-oriented software.
4. Good overview knowledge about established technologies and current trends.
5. Experience with agile software development practices.
6. Fluent in spoken and written English.
7. Flexible to meet customer requests and deadlines.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills.
9. Good communication with other team members.
