The project also involves ensuring high availability and resilience of systems and applying best practices in data management and security. In short, the project is expected to include a comprehensive cloud transformation and the implementation of an infrastructure that complies with modern security and scalability standards.

Project goals:

- Modernize IT architecture to move to the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Automation and process improvement through DevOps and CI/CD.

- Compliance with security requirements and standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2).

- Manage cloud services, ensuring high availability and end-user support.

Work arrangement: 100% remote (team workshops 1-2 times a year in Belgium or Luxembourg)

System Architect – ART Leader for Cloud Transformation

Your responsibilities

• Technology strategy, cloud system design and leading the Agile (ART) team in alignment with the SAFe framework. He is also tasked with ensuring that the architecture is compatible with microservices, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and infrastructure code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Our requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, system design, and cloud technologies.
• Experience in Leading ART within SAFe Framework (certifications such as SAFe Architect or SAFe Agilist are a plus).
• Proven expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and familiarity with cloud migration strategies.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and serverless computing.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
• A track record of driving cloud transformation projects in large-scale environments.
• Experience with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2 is a plus.
