Overview
Structured Finance Middle Office Associate – M/F/D at Societe Generale Warsaw Branch. The role focuses on the setup and operational management of Structured Finance Syndicated and Bilateral Loans initiated by Business Units, with coordination with Paris teams and ensuring compliance with Group rules and procedures, including financial crime prevention (KYC, AML, sanctions & embargoes).
Responsibilities
- Implementation and management of transactions within Structured Finance Operations (syndicated loans, bilateral loans, guarantee issuances) ensuring correct booking in the management tools (Loan IQ, Covtrack, etc.).
- Cooperation with SG departments on legal documentation analysis, collection and validation of approvals, input in systems.
- Management and monitoring of post-closing tasks such as data quality and accuracy maintenance.
- Report incidents/complaints to the manager and in dedicated tools according to deadlines and best practices.
- Participate in transversal service tasks and in continuous improvement of processes and procedures related to team activities.
- Participate in training of new joiners to develop and maintain expertise; perform operational and managerial supervision controls in dedicated tools.
- Engage in internal training (e-learning or in-person) to keep knowledge up to date, particularly on compliance and regulatory aspects.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Banking or Finance.
- Previous experience in Banking/Finance, especially in Middle Office lending operations.
- Strong understanding of bilateral and syndicated loan products.
- Comfort with verification of LMA standard legal documentation.
- Fluent English; knowledge of French is a plus.
- Excellent communication, analytical and synthesis skills.
- Ability to manage workload and work well as part of a team.
