Your responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process accounts payable invoices, ensure proper documentation and approval.
Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and follow-up on outstanding payments.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Compile and analyze financial information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial files and records.
Support the finance team with various ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
Our requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is a plus.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proactive and able to meet deadlines.
Strong ethical standards and integrity.
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
