As an Engineering Operations Manager at WizzDev, youll be pivotal in managing our engineering projects and operations. This role involves direct interaction with clients, translating high-level business requirements documents into detailed plans, and leading our talented engineering team towards successful project delivery.
Software Engineering Operations Manager
Your responsibilities
- Overseeing and managing engineering projects, aligning with client needs, timelines, and budgets.
- Engaging with clients and stakeholders to capture project requirements and offer technical solutions.
- Developing comprehensive project plans, including timelines and resource allocation.
- Motivating and managing a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Coordinating with HR for staffing and operational tasks, including salary structures.
- Implementing operational processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
Our requirements
- Passionate about new technologies, with a degree in a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development projects and engineering operations.
- Demonstrated ability in managing projects and leading technical teams.
- Strong business analysis skills and proficiency in detailed project planning.
- You are fluent in English (C1) and are not intimidated by the vision of talking to external customers .(including on technical topics).
- You had the opportunity to manage a team of developers using Agile methodologies.
- Hands on experience working with external clients and projects.
- You have good understanding of SDLC.
- Experience with Agile methodologies; Agile PM/PSM certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with tools like Slack, Jira, and Google Workspace.
- Experience working in a Software House with a team of 30 to 120 developers.
- Knowledge in microcontrollers, mobile apps, embedded development, or IoT.
