Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineers to join our team as we embark on building a CI/CD pipeline to support the delivery of IBM container products to our valued customers.

As a DevOps Developer, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining this new pipeline.

• Ensure the smooth operations of the CI/CD pipeline, enabling seamless continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to address technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and ensure the efficiency of the CI/CD process.
• Automate and optimize various aspects of the CI/CD pipeline using script programming languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Provide technical support to our customers via various communication channels, including Slack.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by product teams to ensure the pipeline operates efficiently and delivers high-quality software.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Travis and Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment processes
• Git for version control and collaboration
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work well independently and in a team-oriented environment

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker or Redhat Openshift
• Knowledge of Golang or Java
• Knowledge of Rundeck, Ansible, ArgoCD or Terraform
• Knowledge of cloud providers (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of Windows Server, IIS/EFT or web servers
