About the Job:

We are seeking a talented and motivated full-stack Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer responsible for developing our Transportation Management System, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and contribute to the success of our TMS platform.

In This Role, You Will:

• Full Stack Development: Work on both the front-end (Angular/React/jQuery) and back-end (Java) components of applications to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Database Management: Develop and optimize database schemas and queries to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests and conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance. Debug and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and best practices.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, tools, and technologies used in development.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation such as design documents, API documentation, and user guides.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, principles, and best practices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with distributed version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Location:

This is a hybrid in-office role in Gdańsk, Poland.
