What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable, high-performance Go-based solutions for Kaseya’s Direct-to-Cloud backup products.
• Collaborate with product management to introduce new features that enhance reliability, security, and the MSP customer experience.
• Actively advocate for continuous improvement in processes and workflows.
• Mentor and inspire team members by embodying Kaseya’s core values of collaboration and innovation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve service-impacting issues through rotational on-call responsibilities, using cloud-native tools and Go’s efficient debugging capabilities.

Skills You’ll Need

• 4+ years of experience delivering robust, maintainable, and scalable software solutions.
• Strong expertise in Go, with demonstrated problem-solving and design skills.
• Familiarity with PHP and Python, with the ability to contribute as needed to legacy codebases.
• Proficiency in debugging Linux-based systems using the command line and shell scripting (bash).
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, leveraging Go for cloud-based applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
• Knowledge of functional programming paradigms, particularly as they relate to enhancing Go’s capabilities.
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Other Information

• Our products are built on Microsoft Azure and the Datto cloud, with infrastructure managed via Terraform, and applications containerized using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Our development environment is Windows-based, and we are looking for candidates who are comfortable with this setup.
