As a SeniorTransportation Representative - EU, your primary focus is on negotiating spot market commitments with carriers and customers. You'll spend most of your time prospecting, cold calling, qualifying leads, and closing deals. You'll be responsible for managing inbound calls generated from load boards, where your task will be to engage with interested parties and drive transactions forward. Day-to-day, you'll handle event resolution by identifying issues, seeking input when necessary, and implementing effective solutions. Additionally, you'll apply trucks to loads on a strictly transactional basis, with the added goal of fostering relationships that may lead to repeat business. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: Develop supply chain solutions in order to effectively support our customer go-to-market strategy Resolve problems, including identifying issues, thinking critically, seeking input to determine the best course of action, and implementing solutions Maintain and grow relationships with carrier accounts including conducting account reviews and identifying opportunities for additional collaboration Conduct calls with carriers to determine carrier availability and negotiate transportation rates Research new carriers in the marketplace, generate leads, and qualify new carrier relationships Ensure that specific customer load requirements are met on committed and/or ad-hoc shipments Study and understand market trends and seasonality Makes truck offers to those in Capacity and Customer Account Management roles in other branches Managing own personal development plan Branch strategy Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements QUALIFICATIONS Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) Commercial skills Preferred: 1 - 3 years of experience in a commercial role Additional European language is an asset Entrepreneurial character International mindset Strong ability to persuade, motivate, negotiate, and influence others Ability to thrive under deadlines and work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results Driven, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Ability to build strong relationships Values a diverse and inclusive work environment WHAT WE OFFER: Real opportunities to grow your talent in a fast-moving, global organization A fun, open, and inclusive workplace that encourages innovative thinking Possibility to develop your language skills in our multilingual offices Opportunities for professional growth with access to training platforms like Percipio and GoFluent Comprehensive benefits: competitive salary and performance-based bonuses, Private medical insurance, additional Life infurance, Cafeteria plan - My Benefit, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) after one year of employment
